Dahlia grows gigantic blooms from summer through the first frost. Planting Guide:
* Location or light requirements: full sun (6 to 8 hours of direct sun)
* Plant Depth: 6-8 inches deep
* Plant Width: 12-18 inches apart
* Soil: acidic, alkaline or pH neutral loamy, chalk or sandy, well-draining soil
* Water Needs: water lightly until the top growth emerges then water moderately
* Flowering/Bloom time: summer to fall
* Hardiness: Zones 8 to 11
* Zones 3-7 should lift the plant bulbs in fall and store in dry, warm place and replant the next growing season.
* Growth Height: 30 - 36 inches
* Growth Width: 10 - 24 inches
