Forever Susan Asiatic lily starts from a 12 to 16 cm bulb that grows and forms narrow, long laced-shaped leaves and blooms an upward facing 5” flower with vibrant black and orange shade and yellow tips that will come back every year. This unique plant grows between 24 to 36 inches tall which is great for containers, garden beds or any landscape where they will get full sun to partial shade. They are also great for cut flower arrangements or bouquets.
Asiatic Lilies have the largest, unique and colorful blooms and their bulbs multiply annually giving you more highly fragrant, pollen-free blooms every year. When the leaves start to wilt, just wait until they have died down in fall since they help provide nourishment to the bulb for the next season’s bloom. It is advisable to cover them with mulch before the winter weather comes especially in colder areas.

* Location or light requirements: full sun, half sun/ half shade
* Plant Depth: 6 to 8 inches deep
* Plant Width: 9 to 12 inches apart
* Soil: slightly acidic, loamy, clay, sandy moist soil (Mulch over the base of the plants to keep the soil moist and cool but not soaking wet as that will cause the bulbs to rot.)
* Water Needs: 1 inch of water per week (Do not water overhead, it will damage the blossoms.)
